Gateway Motel

I had an extremely good experience at this motel. Amina, the manager, went out of her way to make sure that my stay was comfortable. The room had been updated and was extremely clean. As a hiker, I found their hiker resupply offered everything that you could need. They have a great washing machine/dryer area with an additional sink to clean what is necessary. I was not disturbed by any other guest and found it to be very quiet (just some road noise that you would find at a lot of motels). If you are hiking or just need a place to stay, I would highly recommend this motel.

This is a favorite rest spot for me. They have flexible short and long term rentals, and I believe a few apartments. The staff is always busy and helpful while the rooms are perfectly adequate.

I just have to say that this place has changed quite a bit from past years of horror stories that I’ve heard about. My boyfriend and I got into a bit of a hardship and couldn’t find anywhere that was a reasonable price until we decided to take a chance on here. Now mind you we checked in late as hell and the manager was so nice she sent the maintenance guy to show us the room first before we paid. He was so helpful and kind and patient while we ran to get cash out to pay for the room. The room is clean and cozy and has the comfiest bed ever! The water pressure for the shower was AMAZING! The towels are clean and just over all we were super impressed with service and quality of the room! Definitely don’t knock this place down just because of past stories!

Very rundown on the outside rooms are not bad. I didn’t feel safe staying here, there was yelling in the middle of the night, some of the people seemed crazy. Will not going back!!!

I just checked in last night and wanted to wait until the morning to write a review, going through a bit of a rough time and the gateway has been the light at the end of the tunnel, me and my girlfriend checked in last night at 10PM very much so after hours but the woman we spoke to on the phone was more then accommodating having their maintenance man come out and show us the room before checking in, upon getting ready to pay we didn’t know about the fee so we needed to run and get cash he was very patient with us while we ran to the atm for the cash, very nice guy and a very painless process, alot of these reviews have more complaints then good I read them 100x before calling, and if your like me in that aspect and need someone to reassure you let me be the first my room is honestly amazi
