Garner Inn & Suites

This place is amazing! Was stranded on the side of the road In a blizzard. And they allowed me to stay in lobby till the morning. Then Gary got a room cleaned right after someone checked out. So I could get a room to lay down in and decompress after a stressful night. Good people do exist.

Room was clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. Great shower pressure. Staff I did interact with were extremely polite. Breakfast was warm and decent. Gave 4 stars as nothing was above and beyond what should be standard in my opinion. I would stay here again and would recommend to someone needing a place to stay in this area.

Stayed overnight here during the blizzard. Room was very spacious and nice and a welcome respite for many folks. They helped multiple families in the blizzard and let them warm up inside. We were thankful for the room, they helped shovel peoples cars out in the morning, and helped everyone through a very challenging night.

We had some very important quests stay at this motel recently. When they asked (early) if their room might be available to place their bags in, the clerk, just looked at the clock and said. "Checkin is at 3pm!" By the way the parking lot was empty as they had noone staying there Friday night? Rooms could have been all full Friday, but only 3 vehicle were there Saturday evening They waited and we went out to eat and returned them to motel at 7:30pm. The next morning we found out that their room was extremely warm and they were unable make the room comfortable for themselves to sleep well no matter what they did with the settings in the room. We needed a hotel fairly close to hospital in Belmond. This hotel was an excellent choice. Room was clean, breakfast was good and staff very friendly, along with a good price!
