Garden Inn & suites

This is a fairly inexpensive place to stay in New Braunfels. They've cleaned it up since I last saw the place. I got a room for my daughter. It served it's purpose.

I REALLY wanted this little motel to be a gem...but alas, there are too many issues. Pros - park in front of your door Big parking spots Price Comfortable bed Soft sheets Cleanish (some things are too old to get clean) Location Super kind owners Cold AC (but loud) Fridge, microwave and coffee maker Hot water and great pressure The cons - Where do I start, this is a very old motel, so I expected there to be some things that you know were a little off. However, cockroaches were not one of them! The Cockroach actually crawled across my hand on the bed freaks me completely out. It was 1:00 in the morning before I could actually go to sleep and that's only because my husband said just pretend you're camping. Also, there is mold and rotten stuff all over the place. Horrid disgusting and couldn't stay and they won't refund my two nights ||||Blood stained and unchanged linens on very old beds||||Had to change rooms as tv,ac and lights not working and low water pressure and lukewarm water ||||Second room has non working lamps, non-working microwave, roaches and rodent droppings and a very fast problem bedbug||||Prescription pills ??? On the floor and food on the carpet ||||Good location and the owners were nice but refused to refund since mid April||||Sorry we didn't take pictures

Sonny is the best! I have stayed here several times and the rooms are nice, it's quiet, in a great location, customer service is astounding and the pool is in great shape. 10/10 recommend for a weekend river floating trip.
