Galveston Bay Inn

This is a true gem located in Bacliff. Nestled on a safe, quiet corner directly across from Galveston Bay, this place is a go-to for the area. Clean, quiet, friendly staff. Fair pricing. You couldn’t ask for better in the area for a long or short term hotel stay. I would recommend this place to anyone. Family-friendly, and well kept grounds. This place is sure to accommodate your needs whether on business or just vacation. Thumbs up for sure!

Enormous clean room with full size refrigerator and gas range. Easy walking distance to the beach and a couple of bars and restaurants. Very reasonable price.

Absolutely awful place. The first night we stayed, we were all itchy and assumed there were bed bugs in the beds, and possibly fleas in the carpet. Absolutely rude owner. The owner was very rude, and just an awful person. She has threatened to call the police on us for keeping our aunt’s 2 chihuahuas in the room for one night. She was making a whole scene, constantly yelling. We believe druggies hang around there. We found some needles on the ground around the outside. In short,, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

The owners are nice people, the rooms are clean and affordable, and there is a beautiful view of the bay. We've been staying here for 10+ years when we're in the Galveston County area and have always enjoyed it.

Just as usual the staff here was great. They were very attentive and friendly. They had s place for us to park our truck and trailer that wad convenient to our room and out of the way of the other guest at the motel that night. Our room was ready at check-in and clean and stocked for our stay. The air conditioning unit even had a heater in it which was convenient since it got into the low 30's that night. Checkout was hassle free just like it always has been. We visit the Galveston Bay Inn about twice a month and will continue to. Thanks
