Galinas Sauna and Banya

I’ve been coming to Galina’s Banya for three years now, and for me it’s truly the best place in North Carolina for deep rest and full-body renewal. The space feels very unique and intimate, with a calm, private atmosphere that allows you to completely relax and reset. The traditional bath rituals are exceptional — from steaming to body scrubs and nourishing oil treatments — you leave feeling both deeply relaxed and wonderfully energized. Every visit feels like a true retreat for the body and soul. I also regularly bring groups of women here for our retreats, and it’s always a special, memorable experience for everyone. Galina Spa is a rare gem, and I’m so grateful it exists.

We visited Galina Banya and absolutely loved it. The place is very secluded, right by a lake quiet, beautiful nature, fresh air. You really get a full mental reset there. The banya itself is excellent and very well thought out: there’s space to sit, relax, enjoy tea and water, towels and hats are provided. The steaming ritual is amazing everything is done with great care and quality. There’s a beautiful outdoor cold plunge, lovely decor, and so many details you want to look at and appreciate. The hosts are very kind, and welcoming they create a warm, cozy, home-like atmosphere. There’s also a grill, a fire pit, a samovar, and a nearby house where you can stay overnight. We went with friends everyone was impressed. We’ll definitely come back and highly recommend this place 🤍

We booked the individual steam treatment and the honey “ladka,” and I can honestly say it was one of the most restorative wellness experiences I’ve had in a long time.
