We LOVED our stay here. Stayed in the Gaige Suite. Surpassed expectations. Comfy bed, amazing shower and tub, fire pit on the deck where we enjoyed our breakfast and wine. The staff was amazingly accommodating, especially the kitchen crew who prepared gluten and dairy free options every morning. Great in-room coffee. The wine and cheese in the afternoon was exceptional with a local winery sharing their wines each day. Truly wonderful!

My wife and I stayed at the Gaige House from Jan 5 - 8 and had a fabulous experience. It was part of a 50th wedding celebration for us which was on the 3rd. We were treated very graciously at check - in with congratulations on our anniversary. We had a beautiful room, and nicely furnished. Lovely fireplace too! The grounds are rustic with lots of trees and a flowing creek behind our unit. They did a very nice breakfast with some different offerings each morning. The front desk was very accommodating with suggestions for nearby restaurants. And I loved the happy hours each day from 4:30 - 6 where they set out a nice compliment of cheese and fruit along with 4 bottles of wine. And in an adjacent sitting room they set out bottles of port wine and sake to sip and relax.

The accommodations here were fantastic to enjoy! Even in a winter storm! We enjoyed going out to the hot tub in the rain and enjoying the sounds of the trees and rain coming down. The pool is heated and while we don’t dip in it was definitely an option! The nightly happy hour hosted by local wineries was a great way to try wines in the area without even having to leave the house - the cheese board assortments were also delicious and well stocked. We followed each happy hour with a fresh baked cookie from the case on our way back up to the room! Our room met every expectation we had - we stayed in the Gaige Suite with the double soaking tub and were able to relax each night and unwind from the adventures of the day. The location in Glen Ellen was perfect for us - we enjoyed the amenities

We’re Lifetime Platinum Elite / Titanium Elite with Marriott properties, and my husband travels extensively for work in the entertainment industry. We were in the area for my birthday (New Year’s Eve) and our honeymoon weekend. We could have stayed elsewhere on points, but we chose Gaige House because the property looked special — and it truly is. The grounds are beautiful, our creekside room was lovely, and the tub was a highlight. Our arrival and stay were great.||However, the checkout experience unfortunately changed our entire impression. At midnight on New Year’s Eve, a nearby firehouse sounded air-raid/siren-style alarms. We were asleep and woke up panicked, unsure whether there was an emergency or evacuation, especially given the fast-flowing creek outside our room and a week of he

This beautiful Japanese-influenced hotel is located about 7–8 miles from downtown Sonoma. We stayed in the Ryokan Zen Garden Suite, which features a lovely private inner courtyard. The overall atmosphere was exceptionally quiet and relaxing, and we truly enjoyed spending time in our room—which is rare for us when traveling. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast that is decent; adding a latte machine and some bacon would make it even better. The common areas are also very inviting. Guests can sample three regional wines and six varieties of Japanese sake at no additional cost, which we especially enjoyed while sitting by the warm fireplace. There is also a complimentary wine tasting every afternoon with a great selection of snacks. Overall, the hotel is top-notch in almost every aspe
