The Woodside Grill at the Gaia Hotel and Spa may be off the beaten path, but I think that's what makes it an even better experience! I felt like I was on vacation, enjoying an amazing brunch by Chef Josh. The entire staff was amazing! The food was beautiful and so so delicious! I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us!
I went to Gaia with some friends and family and had a fabulous brunch at the Woodside Grill. The food was amazing. They even had these perfect mocktails for me to sip on while my friends enjoyed their mimosas. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend the Gaia if you’re looking for a place to eat or for an overnight stay.
Easy check-in. Although the hotel complex is large with several buildings among ponds, my room was close to reception. I chose to be upstairs. I had a nice view of trees and a green field. The room was very spacious with a large desk plus refrigerator and microwave. There was a nice closet with removable hangers (I understand why hotels use clothes hangers that can't be removed from the bar, but I hate them). Bathroom was supplied with liquid soap (plus something that said it was soap but I think it was hand lotion). Very quiet room. The heating/cooling system is loud but all hotels seem to have that issue.||There was a restaurant on site that was very good. I was glad to have a restaurant there so I didn't have to drive at night - particularly because it was very foggy during my stay.||I
The grounds were lovely, well kept and gorgeous. After we left the room, we went and just sat and watched the Sacramento River for a bit, in the area provided just for this activity. Would be a very nice place to spend time with friends. It was beautifully lit at night. The room was lovely, clean and most appreciated. We had breakfast in the restaurant. It was superb, 5 stars, and service was top notch and friendly too. The biscuits and gravy was very different than we fix them in the south, but MOST excellent. Most impressed.
It was very clean and quiet. Breakfast is not free although great price , huge portions. Checking in and out was quick and easy and the staff was great, and friendly.. would definitely go again and recommend 😁 dinner was also amazing simple menu but full of flavor.
