Friends Camp

I love going here and its always so fun, the food is amazing, the counselors are awesome, I always have so much fun even if I'm anxious for the first few days it ends up being more fun then I ever could imagine year after year! My favorite place in the entire world... the walk up from water front is still probably my least favorite and thats not even that bad.<3

This place holds many special memories for me as a kid. I was there in the late 70s and still can remember like it was yesterday. I still remember Barry, Rodney, Ariel all from Boston, Emily and Patty whom I had huge crushes on 😊

Everything that schools don’t allow!! Breaks from technology. Peer relationships with campers and adults. Songs, creativity, open learning. Stewardship and care for Creation. Recognition of the gift in everyone and our inborn world of diversity and encouragement for encounters beyond our borders!! Reckless compassion, kindness, and peaceful love.❤️

i spent five of my most formative years at this camp and came back to revisit the stomping grounds. it would take an essay to truly convey how much this place has changed me, and all for the better! i really feel that the staff here molded me into the man i am today, i cannot say enough about how well they treat the campers. the campers are strongly encouraged to find their own sense of self in more ways than one. don’t let the quakerism scare you, this is almost certainly the best place in maine to send your kids for the summer!

Staff are extremely engaged and help the campers to create their own experience.
