Freshwater Vacation Rentals

We had a wonderful experience at Larks Lake Lodge. The home is well appointed, clean, and the kitchen is amazingly well stocked. The bedrooms accommodated everyone in our family reunion very well. Communication with Freshwater Vacation Rentals was spot on and they were prompt in getting back with me. Swimming at the dock was not as advertised; we sank mid-calf in the silt and lost water shoes. Pioneer Park across the lake is more conducive for swimming.

The 2-story cottage was ideal for a getaway with extended family! The fall colors peaked during our stay, making forest views from the windows even more beautiful. Fridge is mid-sized. Other appliances included toaster, iron, hairdryer. Parking was level with the house. I was able to call/text a live person with questions both before and during our stay. There were plenty of spare blankets available, and woodsy decor gave the place a cozy home-like feel.

My family and I recently stayed at a Freshwater Vacation Rental in Grand Junction, Michigan, and it was everything we were looking for in a summer getaway. The home was beautiful, with spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities, and a stunning view of Silver Lake. We loved spending time on the private beach, taking full advantage of the easy access to the water and the fun beach toys provided. The location was perfect—just minutes from local blueberry farms where we enjoyed picking fresh berries and indulging in seasonal ice cream treats. It was also a quick and easy drive to South Haven, where we explored several restaurants and local spots recommended in the helpful welcome binder left at the property. This place is absolutely stunning. Stunning! The house is well-equipped and comfortable but the gold star goes to the beach. It is gorgeous. Private. Quiet. Glorious sandy perfection. The outside space made this a most memorable experience. It feels like you’re on the ocean and you probably won’t see a soul on the 7 mile stretch of beach all week. The Flat Iron Brewery was awesome with great food. The rest of Manistique is not really too happening so if you’re looking g just for beach and down time at “home” this is a great location.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pearl Beach. The house was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. We loved the shade on the deck and the sandy bottom lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and the swim pad. We also rented the pontoon boat for the second half of our trip and had a great time on it. We enjoyed swimming in the deeper water off of the pontoon boat. The owners were very helpful and responsive. Overall a wonderful experience! We will be back next year!
