Freedom Park Family Campground and RV Park

Very rude and weird landlord. She stalks the tenants and false advertising to get u to move in! The bathrooms are filthy! My mother in law stayed here and was treated very poorly. She took advantage of my mil and lied saying how nice this place was but in reality it’s a dump. Can’t visit your relatives here or she’ll accuse the tenant of sneaking people in even if you only visit twice. She’ll wait til you pay then try to find reasons to kick you out within the next week. Don’t fall for the fake nice act she has going on. This woman weird and doesn’t know how to run a campground. No dumpsters either. Want you to walk across the park and dump trash in a tiny dumpster behind a ghetto gas station that doesn’t even sell gas. The store beside it is also expensive as hell and there’s no service

I stayed a few days with relatives. I'm thinking of pulling my RV there later. It's clean, the people are nice. I only met one staff member but she was enough. The little lady is everywhere and extremely helpful. It's close to any shopping but in the country. Conveniently there is a general store on the premises that is well stocked with the basics. I would definitely recommend it.

I'll never see my deposit returned. I paid one month's rent in advance for a two week stay to "cover the electric meter charges". After several repeated calls to Lakla (owner) I have given up. I never saw my electric bill and kept getting the run-around for my deposit refund. The place is a dump, there was only 1 small trash can for 15 campers to share and dog feces litter the sites. I couldn't get out fast enough!

We happily joined in on a after project cleaning up and it is looking great, love the people and the atmosphere…….come sit a spell , this area has a lot to offer, dirt track racing, rock crawling for 4+4s, boating fishing, and lots of room to drive the calf cart 🛻 and the restrooms are clean.

My wife and I looked at many RV Parks months before we parted ways with NY State,before we moved , l had communicated with the owner like I had with many others, when we met in person she was the same as she was on the phone helpful, kind, very personable , the park is very beautiful and clean, has a bath room,showers , and work being done all the time, I helped clean one area by my site just to make it look nice just because they are so nice , they are finishing up the laundry room now Come and sit a spell…..
