1 of the best campgrounds you'll find anywhere. Great owners, quiet campgrounds, big sites. In the summer the pool is open. Kid playground, fire ring and picnic table at every site. Mike will even bring you wood at a super affordable price. There's even a put-put here!

We stayed here 7 months and absolutely enjoyed every bit of it. It's a very safe and quiet atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and keeps to themselves. This is a great places for children. We absolutely loved getting to experience halloween here. They had a trick or treat and hay ride ride. It was a blast. The staff always too very good care of the park making sure the yard was always clean and the driveway was always clean especially in the fall and winter months. No matter the temperature he made sure that everyone's propane tanks stayed filled and the driveway as good as possible. He gives great tips on how to make it comfortably through the cold winter months. We couldn't have picked a better camp to stay at. They gas station around the corner has great food and there's a dollar general

It is a beautiful well kept campground. It has a playground and nice facilities. We tent camped and it had electric and a fire ring- we usually primitive camp in the middle of the wilderness but it was too cold so we ended up at this place so we could plug in our heater. This is not the usual places we tend to stay because we like to be in complete darkness in middle of nowhere with nothing but the sounds of the night around us.. therefore, it was not our cup of tea, BUT for families or people who like to be in a real campground and not some cleared spot in nowhere, this is it for you. They have a mini golf course and close enough to town to get stuff you need. If I had a family I would come back here. The owner was very nice and the place was pretty. We just don't really like being around

This is a nice campground. Everything in walking distance. Monroe Lake is not far from here. The young adults liked playing pool and the putt putt golf. The kids liked the playground and the swimming pool. The husband liked the friendly owners and firewood being dropped of at the campsite. It's a very nice place to camp and hang out.

We have had an amazing weekend. Free Spirit Campground is a beautiful place, ran by a nice and helpful couple. It's easy to find, the bathrooms are very clean, and the spots are easy to get into. The campstore has all kinds of trinkets, albums, some clothes, and camp essentials. All the prices are very very reasonable. Some would say yardsale prices. We all played put-put and had a blast. We sat around the fire ring, talked, and had an amazing weekend. We will definitely be back to Free Spirit Campground.
