Wonderful experience at the Delaware Tribal Pow Wow. Lots of parking and bleacher seating for those that didn't bring camp chairs. Good food and many merchants to visit.
The grounds are amazing but slightly not fully accessible for those in wheelchairs. I got stuck in the mud and in gravel. I still loved the grounds and recommend everyone come to the Powwow each Memorial day weekend.
Annual Memorial Weekend Powwow, Fri, Sat. And Sunday. Grand entry at 8pm, come early and check out the booths, have a charburger, visit and play games. No admission costs and plenty of free parking. Totally outdoors. Dance contests, drum music, 50-50. Camp all night if you find a spot.
We go every year for their Memorial Day Weekend Powwow and honor dance. It is an eye opening, educational experience. I have uploaded some videos of the festivities.
I've got so many good memories here. My family and I go basically every year, and it's wonderful every time. Bring bug spray though. There's mosquitoes the size of Luftwaffe planes there.
