Great place to stay while skiing Okemo. Classic Vermont Inn with character and awesome hospitality. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are too! Excellent breakfast and easy drive from Chester to Ludlow. Nate is an exceptional host. I will be back!

This was our second visit to the inn, and it was every bit as good as our first! It’s a very cozy place with wonderful innkeepers. The rooms are very clean with comfy beds and period appropriate furnishings. Breakfast offerings vary each day with items like pancakes, quiches, breakfast casseroles, sausage, bacon, yogurt with fruit compote, real maple syrup, and homemade jams made at the inn. The inn is in a great location. Lots to see and do in the area. The Vermont Country Store in Rockingham is a 10 minute drive. Cute shops in the town of Chester. Stone House Antiques offers great browsing. Try a slice of pie at the Southern Pie Cafe! Springfield is 8 miles away and the Copper Fox is a great spot for dinner. You’ll pass Mitch’s Maples on the road to the inn. Definitely worth

Stayed here for 2 nights while skiing Okemo. Very friendly and helpful staff! Warm and cozy feel to the whole building. Really enjoyed the fireplace in the common room after a cold day on the mountain. Would definitely come back here.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by the lovely staff — and even some of the other guests — making it feel like we were visiting family rather than staying at a hotel. The atmosphere is so peaceful and inviting, with beautiful surroundings and a serene pond where I spent time playing and laughing with my daughter — moments we’ll always treasure. Such a peaceful and comfortable stay. I arrived early evening and took a relaxing walk around the property, across the street to the river and along the quiet country road. I slept great in a very clean and comfy room. Breakfast was hot and delicious- something that seems more rare in my recent B’n B stays. The town is charming, and hosts were very friendly. I will stay again when I pass through the area. Felt like it was a good value. My stay exceeded my expectations.
