Four Star Campground

Wif and Janette are good people and work with people. They are very welcoming.

We stayed here for a month and loved it. Every one that works here is a lot of help and very nice. The full timers are nice and fun. Every one treats you like you are family. There is a grill in the evenings that make really good food and you can either take it to go or eat there and play some games. The spots are spacious and clean. There is a pool, a playground, laundry room, ice, and vending machines.

Bait and switch. I called the day before arrival and was told it was a Good Sam campground at $40 per night. When I arrived, I was told that the person I spoke with had Alzheimers and that the price was $50. Whether the Alzheimers story was true (and I hope not), they should have honored the quoted price. We moved on to Illini State Park.

Well it's sad to say I loved my lot. We paid $800 we were there for a week so they made $600 off of us I was told that we were told when we came in no refunds we wasn't told that so make sure if you're going by the way if you don't know how long you're going to be there pay by the week. but you know what it's okay because that's the way of the world nowadays it's a scam everywhere you go it's a rip-off everywhere you go and If they can live with their self. So my mama used to say if they can live with it I can live without it would I recommend it no would I ever go back no.

I have been a resident for 5 years. I have a beautiful lot (40) with plenty of room for my dog Snoop. The management could not be any better or more helpful. With fishing, camping, and holiday celebrations, like 4th of July and Halloween make this place very special. Bad wishers need a hotel.
