Four Sevens Motel

This place is an old, roadside motel, so I didn't know what to expect since it was pet-friendly (and I needed a pet-friendly place). We rolled into town with no reservation, just walked in, and got a room on the second floor (walkup only). But the floors had that newer fake wood flooring (not carpeted), so the room was pretty clean and comfortable. It also had a working fridge and microwave. Being Nevada, there is nowhere nearby with grass where the pups could be walked. But this place was quieter than i expected, the staff was very friendly, and we had no issues for a quick overnighter on our way to Great Basin. However, keep your expectations adjusted accordingly. It's nothing fancy.

Stayed here twice. First the good: friendly, helpful front desk staff, and clean rooms, fair price. The "not-so-good"- worn facilities. The town has a pretty "dead" feel. Nice enough people, but most of the buildings are closed/vacant, road construction in the middle of town... But if you need a place to spend the night in the middle of Nevada ..

I wish I held back on stars for other motels so that I could make this one stand out more. All the rooms are very recently (as of 09/2025) refurbished with quality work. Real tile on the shower, etc. The floors are vinyl plank tile, but I prefer that over carpet, which is basically always dirty. Everything was spotless -- no mold on the grout, no hair on the floor, no stains on the linens, etc. I got their smallest room, with only one queen bed. The work desk is very small, so if that's important to you, make sure you'll be ok with what's in the room you're getting. Susan (?) at the front desk was very friendly, gave me travel suggestions.

For a little old hotel the nicest place. Rooms are clean and nice. More amenities than I’d find at pricier hotels. Lots of tv channels. I plan on booking on the way back. Staff was very nice. Good stopping place for my trips!

Basic accommodation with everything you need crammed into a small room. The (queen) room was clean, but very small, and the bed very comfortable, but so tall it made the room feel even smaller (I don't understand the need for a bed 30" tall). Keurig coffee maker with pods and a bottle of drinking water on a small eating table with chair, big TV on a huge piece of furniture with fridge, microwave, and three small drawers, heater/AC working fine, if a little noisy. Bathtub small and shallow in a small bathroom but no shortage of hot water. The big downside was thin walls and noisy neighbors above, and a staircase right next to the room, which they clomped down at 630am. Hotels/motels need sounds insulation. Stay on the second story and away from the staircase, or get up and out really early,
