Customer service sucked and very Rude. We made a reservation earlier in the day and told the guy on the phone we won’t be there until later. When we got there no one was at the front desk and the door was unlocked. Took 30 to 40 minutes to get someone up front. We told the guy we had a reservation for two nights. Then he wanted to say no we didn’t make any reservations. Wanted to argue 3 times saying that he didn’t make any reservations. He was so close on living. Then finally we got our room. The bed that my 12 year old and I slept on was so hard. It felt like sleeping on a boxed spring ,it felt like I had bruises all over , that’s how it was.I called and asked if I can get more blankets to make it better to sleep on. The same guy answered and hung up fast. Then I called back and asked if

Bed's were hard as rocks, the tv didn't work, key card kept locking us out. Could not get thermostat to control right. No matter how high you turned it, it continued to lock in on 62*. So you literally had icicles on you, especially in the bathroom.

My son and I were stranded in Richwood due to our car hitting a deer. We were stranded. After calling 911 we were told we could get a room at the Four Seasons Inn. which was a mile up the road. We went there to secure a room. The man at the desk was so inebriated he was holding himself up by the edge of the desk. He weaved and bobbed back in forth. There was one time I thought he was going to fall down. He said the room was $90. Which was fine with me. Before I could pay a woman came in a door behind him and proceeded to hold him up. I was handing him my credit card and he said “”I’m not going to do it” and repeated it several times. The woman said “take the money” to him. He would repeat not going to do it again and she kept telling him to take the money. I turned and left. I told my son

DON’T book a room in the lower older building. The location of this place is truly a slice a heaven. We made the mistake choosing the lower original building, built 70-80 years ago I think . Quite frankly, the room #104 we stayed in was disgusting. Dead spiders, dead huge hornets and stink beds everywhere. We were originally in 103 but the TV didn’t work. The bathrooms looked like something out of a horror movie. However, the customer service was excellent, and we had the opportunity to move rooms to the newer building, but chose not to not realizing how awful sleeping in the lower building would feel. There are some major ventilation issues making the room feel very wet. The air-conditioning unit must’ve been 50+ years old and had not been cleaned in a long time. Didn’t work properly. I w

I wish that I could be more positive. This little mountain town needs a boost. The 4 seasons lodge needs a major update/ repair/refresh. Pros - it has a roof over your head, my ceiling was stained from water damage but nothing leaking during my stay - staff was friendly and even helped when I got locked out after hours -location for local triathlon was convenient -WiFi worked(no local cell service) Cons - no air conditioning, tried 3 different rooms, all broken(internal temp 78, thermostat set to 65- I gave up) - dirty: stained towels and sheets, sticky stuff on multiple surfaces, cigarette burns in furniture and comforter, walls covered with some sort of red gross splatter(only in 1 room); particles on floor(ketchup in carpet I think, chips, q tips… this is a summary of the 3 rooms I tri
