Four Seasons Island Resort

If you're planning on having your wedding at the Four Seasons Island Resort, I would reconsider. My husband and I were married there on 10/31/25 and had a horrible experience with their entire staff either being rude or offering little to no help. I even emailed the Event Coordinator Marie Fende and Event Manager Kayla Myers that we had been working with for the wedding over a week ago about these issues with no response from either of them. ||||We were asked THREE days before our wedding to move where we had planned to have our reception since the resort was having a karaoke event in the bar near the reception room and they didn't want to figure out whose drinks should be free and who they needed to charge for. |||| The chairs weren't set up for our ceremony so my husband started to d

Stayed in the fall (Oct 24-26). Had a king suite, VERY nice, clean room. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Location was great for us (off-roaders), and they have plenty of parking for vehicles with trailers. The only bad we found was the food. 8 of us made reservations at the lounge (1905 Steakhouse was not open) on Saturday evening for 6 prime rib dinners and 2 pizza's. Food did not come out together AT ALL, ALL the food & sides were cold. Improper cook on all but one prime rib. The pizza's were drastically undercooked (one had the entire toppings wrong). The remade pizza for the one that was wrong was still horribly undercooked. Neither pizza was able to be eaten. The prime rib, although the flavor was decent, was a poor cut. Beautiful pools. |Good food in the restaurant,|, but …|hotel needs more staff in general and cleaning and updating in many areas. ||Danielle at the front desk was unwelcoming and did not give a positive first impression. ||Char was excellent at the front desk and she was kind and helpful!

Have been trying to reserve a date for a small wedding for over 4 months know. Kayla (no longer employed there) and Marie do not respond to emails on consistent basis. Have reached out multiple times for the same reason without any response. Very unprofessional.

What a wonderful place to stay - we enjoyed our visit - clean, great front desk staff, pool and hottub were great, the food and drinks at the Boundry Waters Sports Bar were excellent. Abbie did an amazing job serving drinks and food all by herself. Close to all the waterfalls. We were able to get cell service with no issues. Would definitely come back.
