Four Points by Sheraton Buffalo Grove

Positive: "" Negative: The exterior doors were in need of repair. The exterior door nearest to our room was not able to even be shut and secured. Anyone could walk into that hotel because their entrances are not locked. They do not have a continental breakfast.

Stayed here because all of the local hotels near O’Hare wanted outrageous prices for a one night stay. Since I was having dinner near Buffalo Grove the night I stayed, I chose this hotel. ||Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted by the desk clerk and thanked for my Bonvoy status. When I went to the room, I found it to be clean, and a nice view of the inner courtyard area. The bed was very comfortable, I slept well, and the shower worked as it was supposed to, with plenty of hot water. That’s where the nice part of the room and hotel ended. ||Some of the exterior entry doors are still broken, as posted in previous reviews. The advertisement of a heated pool is a floor dryer that makes the pool room warm. The pool is very cold and I would not recommend a night swim after the temperature has dropped. The restaurant they advertised is a kitchen for breakfast that is an extra cost. The bar never opened and what they had advertised on the sign is a small selection of common beers on tap. They had local breweries beer but we didn't get to try any as the bar area never opened. The breakfast is all you can eat so get there as early as possible as people grab everything up fast like the sausage and potatoes, fruits like the watermelon and strawberries, the yogurts, oatmeal, waffle batter, butter and jellies, and the milk for the cereal. I recently stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Buffalo Grove, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a while.
