Four Columns Inn & 1832 Tavern

My husband and I just spent our 39th wedding anniversary at the Four Columns Inn. What a wonderful experience! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, the room (Al Roker) was beautiful, the restaurant was so quaint and the food, delicious! It snowed the whole full day we were there and we couldn’t have been happier to be hunkered in at this gorgeous Inn! A special shout out to Elizabeth, who was so nice and especially to Denise, who was one of the kindest humans I’ve ever met, she even cleaned my entire car off of snow! Thank you everyone, we will be back!

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Four Columns Inn. We booked the room for a last minute ski trip while visiting family in New England for the holidays. The building is historic but has been nicely renovated and updated with modern appliances & amenities. We stayed in the Tom Cruise room which is on the second floor of the main building. The fireplace and soaking tub were great after a cold day on the ski mountains. Dinner and drinks at the 1832 Tavern was lovely. The only issue was we didn’t stay for longer! Highly recommend and will be planning another trip in the future!

Wow this Inn far exceeded our expectations of a quintessential VT bed & breakfast. Bridget at the front desk was lovely and welcoming. The accommodations are absolutely comfortable, clean, charming, and decorated beautifully. The food in the restaurant was superb. We had the crab cake appetizer and the meatloaf and both were mouth watering. I had such a cozy comfortable sleep in the bed. We took a nice walk around the area and there was a cute country type store nearby which mirrored the VT country store with its merchandise and charm. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for four days. The Inn was everything we were hoping for and more. Beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were great, best sleep ever. The Inn is well maintained and has awesome exterior, so welcoming. Everything you would picture for a Vermont setting. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We live in Utah and have children there in Vermont, this will be our place to stay and relax when visiting our children.

Amazing place! Rooms were ultra clean. The bar and restaurant were excellent. The service was great. This is the nicest place to stay in the area. Very comfortable atmosphere. Five stars!
