Wonderful campground! Basic/clean/free hot showers. Paved bike paths, playgrounds, hiking trails. We had a nice, relatively private site : 236 F. Not perfectly level but worked fine. Laundromat just outside the park.
I go every year and it’s always fun, the only thing I could say I’m kind of upset with is they don’t have sewers
Had site F211. Pretty good site. Level enough. No privacy at all and neighbors are close. Had good neighbors so not a problem but this site is definitely not private if that’s what you’re after. Water and electric. Sewer dump on way in. No Verizon signal at site. Had signal and free WiFi at check in building and also had great signal at the historic area. Several over the air stations but most buffer to much to be watchable. Bathrooms were clean but the showers were disgusting. Good thing we had a shower in our camper. Overall good stay with a lot to offer in the area. Would stay again and recommend to others.
I found the entrance to drive on the sand it was alot of fun. The elk are calm and photogenic.
A fantastic place! We're so glad we stopped here. Lots of trails, lots of sight seeing and lots of children's laughter.
