Fort Lauderdale Gardens Inn and Suites

The young man at the counter was awesome and the room was doable...it is an old place and you get what what you pay for...201 had no mold or mildew no bugs. Tv,AC,micowave and mini fridge worked bed was ok firm for my liking and it was clean. Shower worked with hot water...neighbors were quiet even if they did look sketchy...what more can you ask for at these prices.

Positive: Nothing at all the pictures on the site were very misleading. The two rooms I was assigned had mold in the bathrooms and overall the rooms were smelly and dirty. Negative: I did not like anything about the hotel. It was very misleading. The bathroom had mold and the tub was filthy. Very unhappy with this hotel

What’s most troubling is the lack of accountability across all levels—from front desk personnel to upper management. I made multiple attempts to reach someone who could address my concerns, but no one followed up or even acknowledged my requests.||This experience was not only frustrating—it was unacceptable. I expected a level of professionalism and hospitality that your establishment failed to deliver. Frankly, I would have received more attentive and respectful service at an Airbnb, where hosts actually value their guests.|I hope you take this feedback seriously and implement immediate improvements. Guests deserve better. GUEST BEWARE!

The customer service was incredibly poor. The room smelled, and the floors were not cleaned. That was actually the good part of the room. The bathroom has a hole in the wall. The sink had soap residue in it and the shower was not cleaned. The toilet paper role was almost empty. The door to the bathroom would not close unless you pushed on it very hard, making a load noise when opening and closing. When this was brought to the attention of the staff they became upset and spoke in a load rude tone. When I got up and said that we are customers and I don’t appreciate the way you are speaking to us, the member of the staff said “I don’t have to take this” and stormed out of the room mumbling something. Being a local resident, living 3 miles from this hotel, and having spent the last 2 months in broward county hotels while my building is being worked on, I can safely say this hotel is elite for what you pay. This isn’t Richard’s hotel, or hollywood beach hotels, or the countless other hotels in the hollywood area that are littered with homeless people and trash. This hotel is in a safe area, walkable to much. There isn’t a need to shop around if your destination is hollywood/dania/Fort Lauderdale, as fort lauderdal gardens is pound for pound the best hotel with excellent rooms and showers for the active traveler
