Fort Knox Park Inn

My husband and I stayed one magical night here this past August, as we were passing through the area. The front desk lady was so accommodating and sweet, once she showed us the room with the beautiful bridge view, we were sold! We enjoyed a wonderful walk behind the hotel along the river and the charming town of Bucksport. The night view of the lighted bridge alone from that room was so romantic, it's enough to make us consider driving back up from Ct just for a repeat of such a wonderful date. The comfy room, the great shower, the incredible view, the quiet area- is all we could ask for in a hotel. We will be back!

Positive: The location and view were amazing! Negative: The front desk ladies were so helpful and nice. The staff that clean the rooms wouldn’t even look at you, never mind speak to you. I wish we knew we were on the first floor. Didn’t like having people walking in front of the window.

First and foremost we'd like to recognize Patty and Dora. There was another young lady but we didn't get her name. They all did a fantastic job checking us in and putting us in a room that played a big part in making our time in Bucksport on vacation one of the best experiences we've ever had. The room was excellent, with a bay view and view of the bridge. Wow the bridge at night lit up was beautiful. The room had everything we could ask for.....the water pressure in the shower was the best we've ever experienced in our 30 yrs of travel. We will strongly recommend this hotel to others and again the stay definitely exceeded our expectations mainly because of the service, professionalism and friendliness of the staff. You’re probably gonna get all future reservation ASKING for this room but

We had been driving for hours in the dark & were ready to stop. I recognized the hotel name from a TripAdvisor search. We pulled in so quickly that the wind blew! The lady on the desk promptly registered us & provided directions to the room. The room was a step back in time, but sparkling clean. The shower had fabulous pressure & lots of hot water. There was a beautiful water view from our room. The beds were comfy, but the pillows should be thrown away. They were old, small & flat. There was plenty of parking right outside the entrance. Would definitely recommend the hotel.Bucksport is a charming little town.

very nice place, clean, comfortable, the staff was very nice!!! great price, would recommend this hotel to anyone, we were visiting Acadia, and all the places around Bar Harbor were soooo expensive, this was so much nicer at a cheaper price. One place we went we let, it was called The Robbins Motel, and it was a dump! We felt so lucky to go here instead
