Customer Reviews
Amazing experience with a hometown feel…. Upon check in I wasn’t sure what to expect… It’s a smaller town hotel and somewhat dated, but the hospitality and accommodation made up for any misgivings I may have had. I checked in and wasn’t pleased with the initial room I was given ( it made me feel extremely uncomfortable) so the lovely lady at the front desk upgraded me and I completely LOVED the room given to me. My stay was nice and quiet with no disturbances whatsoever. I highly recommend and will be returning again for another respite… Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
The room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a microwave and refrigerator. The front desk staff was welcoming and attentive - they went above and beyond what one would normally expect. There are lots of things to do in the area; Elephant Rocks is a family favorite! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend staying at the Fort Davidson Hotel!
Positive: Very clean and the owners were so nice and helpful. Negative: The attached restaurant is no longer open.
an excellent example of a roadside motel, the way they all used to be in the old days. Very clean very quiet. The refrigerator worked and so did the microwave. And above all the bed was just great, appropriately firm.
The staff are fantastic! We stayed at Fort Davidson hotel in September 2025, I had emailed & phoned weeks ahead of time as travelling from the UK all correspondence were met professionally.Tim collected us at 4.19am from the Amtrak train at Acadia valley. He drove us to a cafe for Breakfast, then later to Elephants Rocks & Johnston Shut-ins plus a local restaurant for dinner. We learnt so much from him personally the perfect tour guide! The hotel was very clean, the beds very comfortable. We used the pool, towels are supplied. Only spent one full day and night, I would definitely go back, Tim also gave us a spare phone charger phew! Forever grateful.
