Fort Boonesborough State Park Campground

AWESOME awesome place to visit! I can't recommend Fort Boonesborough enough!! We will be back in September when they do the siege reenactment because my kids are BEGGING to come back. All of the folks doing demonstrations in the various cabins are kind and very engaging. Everyone is super knowledgeable in their chosen craft and answered all of our questions. Tickets were cheap too. It's a wonderful experience altogether and personally, I can't wait to come back!!

We really enjoyed our visit! This is one of the cleanest state parks I've ever stayed at! There was plenty to do with mini golf, playgrounds and visiting the store. There was some noise from the main road, but it was quiet in the evenings. The camp host was so kind to the kids! They looked for him every time we walked around. The sites are nice, but I would recommend staying in a tent site if you're sleeping in a tent. We had a full hookup site so we could stay next to family. But the ground was pretty hard and had a lot of roots. I don't know if we'll pass through the area again, but it was a very nice weekend. I highly recommend it.

Stayed here for a few weeks. Overall extremely good for general camping. Dump station kind of awkward and the bathouse water smells like river scum but otherwise great place.

We enjoyed the glimpse into the past at the Fort but there weren't a lot of cabins open to view. What we did see was great tho. The staff were very friendly & knowledgeable.

Nice place to camp. Great amenities. Wonderful staff. Explore the state park too.
