Fontana Village Inn

We were in town for a regatta at Lake Geneva and didn't know what to expect. We were very happy with how much space was in the rooms and how clean and newly renovated feeling they were. On top of that, the daily housekeeping staff propped our son's stuffies up on the bed in funny poses each day that our son really enjoyed! The owner was amazing as well, since when my son accidentally left one of his stuffies behind, the owner himself mailed it to us. Added bonus was the Direct TV that carrieds ALL NHL games! Thank you so much Fontana Village Inn!

Growing up as a summer kid in the LG area we still have family to visit around the surrounding lake. Occasionally we stay with fam but sometimes we splurge and take in The Abbey Resort but when we just simply need a room, we go to the Fontana Village Inn. The GM Peter Patel couldn't be nicer, the rooms are clean and you face the east for exposure to a beautiful sunrise! If you are looking for a simple room for an overnight stay, check them out. Direct TV, coffee maker, shower & bath and a comfy bed. Basic but they have all you really need including a good night sleep! Walking distance to many restaurants and bars.

Only stayed for the night but the room was so clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It was anything we could ask for. Great stay!

Honestly, I was skeptical, but ended up being very impressed. I have these white washable slippers I use in hotels to walk on the carpet and I can always tell how clean the carpets are by how the soles look after. I’ve stayed in some fancy places and Village Inn beat them all in the white slipper test. Place was spotless. Even their shampoo/conditioner/soap I liked. Mattress was wrapped and protected (I’m paranoid about bed bugs). I took photos for proof. TV was small, but we don’t watch much TV on vacation. It passed all my tests. I think it’s family owned- at least seemed that way. All were very nice and greeted me by name. Will definitely stay again when in town. Highly recommend!

Bad experience, smell room,clean so so ,we made reservation two weeks before and room we don't ready, we can't slept, we canceled The staff doesn't clean room experience.
