Customer Reviews
This place is great. The owner and office manager are amazing people. RV spaces for $550 a month on long-term rentals. Water, garbage, sewer and electric included. Separate men and women showers. Laundry room and small club house. And right by the river. This place is on 12 spacious acres. I love this place so much that I'm moving in on December 1st. Looking forward to a peaceful life at a very affordable price. Note.. this is an RV park. Not a mobile home park.
Booked a nights stay based on online site, showed up there was only one other camper and a lot full of permanent trailer residents. There are no amenities as shown on the site map. No play area or game room. The swimming lagoon is a few inches deep and not a great swimming hole. Porta potties are used for bathroom. Grossly overpriced! 55$ for a site! Save your money and go to Coopers Gulch or Mary Smith campground minutes away for an incredible camping experience for 30$ with nice bathrooms. Requested a refund but no response or action was taken by the ‘ resort’.
Beware if you are coming to this place to workcamp. For a $500/mo spot, and $50 utilities you are expected to be on call on site 24/7, as well as work 15-20 hours active per week. That nets out to about $6.88/hour, not counting any of the on call time. For that, you can expect to be shouted at by the manager Lynda within a day or two. The owner Lee doesn't care. For less than half of California minimum wage, avoid this place at all costs as a workcamper. It might be okay if you're a paying customer, but given that they are trying to run off the current workcamp host Dan, you might not get the best maintenance support because they are under staffed and under paying in that area severely.
Way overpriced like way way overpriced just go get a hotel out of town. Not that you need service when you’re camping, but there’s no service. The grounds are not kept up. It’s just dirty, but if you don’t mind paying hotel prices for a camp spot go for it. It’s near a river not as close as they make it seem, but it is near it And you have to book online. Don’t call because the guy will just tell you why can’t you book it online? I get the feeling that it was recently bought over by someone who doesn’t care
Nice camp spot next to Trinity River. Down the road is a good BBQ/store and a few more miles to the Dam for fishing. Flux is really quiet, Rvs up at top with nice bathroom/showers. Rec room foe kids and plenty of nature to soak in. Yes indeed that water is cold too!
