What a lovely place to be! We were there in the Fall and it was gorgeous! A slight chill in the air was perfect for walks. Our little one (aged 2) was in heaven with all the animals…dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, horses, a goat, guinea fowl. The stream running by was beautiful and we were able to sit and contemplate under the trees by the “babbling brook.” I can imagine in warmer weather our little one would’ve loved to paddle through the water. While our little one napped, I was able to relax and read my book. Very comfortable! It’s far enough out of town that you feel totally out of any rat race but town is also only 30 mins away so you can get there easily. We were there over Halloween and they had a wonderful parade in town. The kid loved climbing into the police car and fire
