Been coming here for 53 years. The water is still beautiful as ever. The lack of a beach now is disappointing. It used to be kept up with rock and sand moved to it but now it has completely eroded.
There is a pavilion here ou can rent. My 1st time being there. Also seems to be a 5$ cover to park there. The area is nice. Water was down at this time. But it was fun none the less. Other than having to rent the pavilion and the 5$ parking cover it was nice. Didn't know there was a parking cover for national water and park ways. That's wild.
The camp hosts are amazing and do a fabulous job keeping the campground and recreation area clean! I cant say enough good about them! This is a little gem that we are fortunate to have! That being said, we had rain on our second night and lost power to our travel trailer. We tried the spot next us and no power. This place has been neglected by the state and needs some major renovations and updates.
Campground with level sites, electric hook up, and friendly camp host. Two short trails with spring wildflowers. Basic sites are $15.
Outstanding campground. Some sites have electric. Water spigot available. We were the only ones there other than the helpful host on a weekday
