I called ahead (on the day of 10/4/25) and asked about prices for that night; I was told showers were included in the $40/night price. I made plans that included a night's stay. When I arrived, the paperwork made clear: showers were a separate $14.00 (plus $2.00 deposit) charge. The person I had spoken with on the phone was present, he confirmed that he had told me the shower price was included; his manager overruled him and refused to honor the included shower price. RV slot 4 (pull thru) 10/4/25- 10/5/25 Nice clean park, and space 4 had the sewer set at an appropriate height - can't say that for all sites.
We were making our way from Littleton Colorado to Kansas City Missouri and decided to do a double travel day and found a 24/7 Flatlands RV Park in Abilene Kansas for a stayover on August 19, 2023. This was our first time staying at a 24/7 location, and it was a perfect place to stop and recharge for the night after a long drive. Upon our initial arrival at Flatlands RV Park, we were immediately embraced by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The check-in process was seamlessly facilitated by the friendly staff, making our entrance into the park a pleasant experience. Our assigned site initially was Site 2, a convenient back-in spot located next to the gate. However, given the constraints posed by an additional vehicle, we opted to request a different site. The accommodating staff promptly as
This was our second stay at Flatland... two years in a row. Good sites and felt secure. While behind a 24/7 truck stop we ran the air conditioner due to heat and did not hear the trucks or activity at the truck stop. I am surprised that more people don't utilize this rest stop. It was restful, easy to get in and out of, and had the bonus of fuel and a convenience store. I really wish there were more like it on the interstates. The concrete drives in the sites are a little narrow but manageable.
Seems to be new, about half the employees didn’t know how the Rv park stuff worked. Only 2 pull thru sites. We didn’t completely fit in the site without unhooking from the truck, but it was pretty empty. Some of the sites near the end would be next to impossible to get in and out of unless you only have a van. The w/e/s hook ups are in weird places. (Like right outside your door) $40/night. I probably wouldn’t stop again.
We uad made reservations a couple of months in advance to spend one night here on our cross country trip. Because of mechanical issues, we had to cancel our reservation with 24 hours notice. Sadly, they will not refund any of our fees without SEVEN days notice. I yuess rhey are not big on customer service. I would absolutely not recommend.
