Flag Island Resort

Came up here for a winter fishing trip. This place is very nice. We stayed in the cha-let cabin which is awesome. The bar/restaurant is nice. Service was top notch, friendly and talkative servers, the cook was great and our guide was great. We came late February and knew the fishing wasn't going to be great but it surprised us a little bit. We caught quality fish, and the ice crew was checking with us often and ready to move us if we wanted. If your looking for a place to go, this is it. 47 year old with 35 years on this lake this is the 1st trip I've taken up north and was well worth it

Neeshak Cabin was perfect and easily accommodated our whole family. Beautiful lakefront property. The scenery was stunning and the fishing was unbelievable! My teen daughters loved it! We also enjoyed exploring beaches, an old fort and gold mines, and shore lunches! Incredible to be at the Northernmost Point in the US!

Stayed up there for a week and had a great time. Our group boated 10 muskies with multiple follows in some tough conditions. Dock hands were great and loved the bar. Met some great people. Excellent food as well. Look forward to going back next year.

I grew up on this area , and this resort is awesome as a return visitor. The food is abundant and good, they accommodate boat arrivals with friendly white lab and gracious hospitality all around. We will be coming back

In this day and age, it's hard to find a place that combines mom and pop charm and friendliness with today's expectations for service and comfort, but Flag Island Resort does just that. We found the staff to be helpful, attentive, and super friendly. The property is clean and well maintained. We stayed in one of the older cabins and had no issues. Keith and Brittany, the managers, do a great job making you feel at home. They train the staff well, they really feel like a team. Each night, the kitchen cooked delicious dinners with our fresh catch of walleyes, which we washed down with cold beers in the lovely knotty pine-covered restaurant and lounge. Looking forward to more friendly service, great fishing, and watching beautiful sunsets from our cabin deck again next year.
