Five Towns Inn

I had an excellent experience at Five Towns Inn. I arrived after a very disappointing experience at a nearby Marriott property due to poor customer service, so I was honestly stressed and tired. From the moment I walked in, the staff completely turned my day around. They were incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and valued as a guest. I truly appreciated that they allowed me to check in earlier than the scheduled time, which made a huge difference after what I had just experienced. My name is Juan from Argentina and I had a ver confortable 2 days at the hotel. Rooms were very conveniant clean and confortable. Breakfast very conveniant, easy and fast. All employees very kind and helpful, specially Michael Morash who helped me to recoup an ítem that I forgot there. |Check in was very easy and agile, like Check out as well. The hotel shuttle picked us up in a timely manner. The driver was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel around 8am and we were able to check right in and get our room. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. While the hotel is older, the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the proximity to JFK perfect. There is an excellent resturant across the street "Lucky Boy". I'd stay there again.

I recently stayed here because my flight was delayed, and I wanted to share a disappointing experience with the front desk receptionist. I requested the complimentary airport shuttle and made the booking. When I asked where it was, he first told me it had already left. Then he said another shuttle would come in 30 minutes. I waited, and after that he suggested I should pay the driver to take me immediately. I was willing to do that, but I asked for a receipt. At that point, he told me they only accept cash. That is when it became clear he was repeatedly pressuring me to pay in cash, even though I was not carrying any and could only pay by credit card. Rooms are decent. Clean and with all basic amenities. Only thing to note is that the shuttle to the airport only runs once every hour. So if you end up at say 2:15 at the airport, you need to wait till 3 for the shuttle. Otherwise you'll have to take a cab.
