Fishtrap Lake Campground

This is one of our favorite places to camp. It's well off the main highway, so it's not busy. I don't recommend any RVs or large campers back here. Either way you come in, it's pretty bumpy! They really keep up with the campground. There's rarely garbage around and the pit toilet is always clean and stocked. The campground is very close to the lake, but not right on it. It can get pretty buggy in early/mid summer, so come prepared for that.

17 miles off Little Thompson rd. Road is gravel but in good shape. Campground is very nice and can accommodate small rv's. Boat ramp is suitable for kayaks and small boats. We didn't fish it so can't comment on that. All in all pretty nice with clean pit latrines.

Great for primitive camping. Restroom facilities on site . No power. Nice lake.

Great campground clean and well maintained no power available so plan around that. The lake is beautiful but don't bring a boat with a motor as motors are not allowed. The cut throat trout are abundant but small.

Great quite place to hike, fish, camp or any outdoor recreation. Always clean campgrounds. Beautiful place.
