Fish Tail Inn

We stayed for 3 nights and really had a good experience. The manager is very attentive and accessible. We had everything we needed and having the ice available was a very good addition to the hotel. Only suggestion I have would be to have paper cups that are individually wrapped for the coffee and to have had tissues in the room. All bedding was nice, towels were bright and new. Nice size refrigerator in the room, kind of like a dorm frig. Not like the tiny hotel ones. Over all ... this hotel gets my vote. We will be back!

We had a great time staying at fish tail inn. Any issue we had, Bobby was there to fix it in no time at all. We were in the sea turtle room and our children loved it. Although it appears small in photos it was plenty of space for two adults and three children. We would definitely stay there again. The location was great. Right up the road from the beach in Sargent and about 40 minutes to the beach in Matagorda.

Rented kayaks from the owner. Very easy to work with. Will definitely rent again. If you need to rent a kayak around Sargent, this is the place.

We were recently deployed to help the town with medical calls and with anything they needed. Lisa was super amazing and didn’t even think twice to let us stay at the inn without charge. The rooms were clean and very nice. Lisa and her husband were amazing host. The people of the town are amazing and very welcoming to new people. I will definitely be back and staying here.
