Fish Commander Cabins

We rented cabin 3 through online booking. When we got there cabin 3 was occupied, I text Lance and a neighbor made a call to Brandy, we were quickly moved to cabin 1 and everything was perfect. This was my first trip to Grand Isle, and I will absolutely be coming back and staying at Fish commander! The starfish restaurant was really good too, if your looking for somewhere to eat.

Cabins were perfect for 6 of us. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. Great location and friendly owners. The booking was easy and the price was just right. The owner happens to be a charter captain. We got lucky and he had a cancellation for one of his charters while we were there and we went fishing with him. It was a blast! We caught 50lb wahoo and some big grouper. Will definitely come back to Fish Commander in Grand Isle for the cabins AND the charter fishing.

The owners were friendly, but that is where the good comments stop. Couldn't even put ice in freezer due to the fishy smell. I wish they had told us they didn't have a bed big enough for a couple. TV didn't work and when i called about it, i was told she would contact me back, she never did. Very bad experience. Will not stay here again. Its 2am and I'm ready to check out.

The cabins are clean, comfortable and come fully stocked! Right across the street from the beach and only 1 mile from the marina. Downstairs there are bbq pits, fish cleaning station, boiling pots and picnic tables. The cabins even come stocked with toilet paper, dish soap, garbage bags, and paper towels! All you have to do is bring your own food and drinks! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The owners are incredibly friendly and even own a charter fishing company-Fish Commander Guide Service (inshore and offshore charters) They are the BEST!

Hi I stayed at the fish cabins and it was great! Way cheaper than the other places and while we were there they caught a MARLIN! we expected to see tuna and mahi mahi but marlin in louisiana? I also got to cook some fish on the bbq and the owner let me borrow a boogy board and I went SURFING on the Beach! The beach was right there!
