A gem in Fife Lake! My Ribeye Steak was cooked perfectly mid-rare 🤤 & the herb butter is mouthwatering. We also enjoyed good pizza that was just right (not over or under). "Dirty Fries" (I like the mild heat from the queso). Tender Short Ribs, and the Lemon Pepper Walleye. I sampled from everyone's plate 😅 and EVERYTHING was delicious! The restaurant has new ownership and their renovations have created an awesome atmosphere; you just wanna hang out. It was too cold for the patio to be open but this is going to be a fantastic summer spot across from the lake (and it's right next to an ice cream shop 👍) We had Service with smiles all around, despite a packed restaurant. Delainey was terrific and made sure we didn't run dry 🍻 Everyone had a good time and thoroughly enjoyed their food. They
I ordered the bacon deluxe. It didn't disappoint. It was delicious. And fries were just as good. Portion size was more than I could finish 👌 The price was reasonable as well. The only reason I'm not giving 5⭐s is because I was freezing the whole time even with a sweatshirt and boots on. I'll be back, but not until they let up on the thermostat or warmer days.
I stop in a couple times a year while traveling. Latest stop was Valentines weekend for the Ice Fishing Derby. Had a great ribeye Friday night and Saturday night, probably the best double smash cheese burger that I can remember (Sean's double delux). Attention to detail on the food was excellent. Service was right on. The facility is nicely done with a good blend of old and new. Great deck outside with solid views of the lake. Be back soon.
I ordered two pizzas. My first was a specialty (BLT) for $17. My second was a large, 3 topping that was $16 plus $3 for each topping. After waiting a while to have my order taken, the girl (who looked like a manager) took my order, and told me “Just so you know, there’s a 15% automatic tip on carry outs.” Which honestly, didn’t bother me too much as I’ve worked as a server for most of my life. But I gotta tell you- I had to laugh when she told me about the automatic carry out tip on two pizzas. In fact, two pizzas that go directly into a cardboard box should actually be the exception to the rule. No difficult expo required, maybe a sauce side. (which had I not asked for, wouldn’t have received). It made me think of some of the shady servers I’ve worked with who pocket money and make rules
You're not going to like this review, but hopefully you Love it because we sure loved our first visit. My wife and I were excited to try the, NEW, OLD, FIFE LAKE INN and we're not disappointed! She had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was so large it hung out 2"s in every direction from between a soft fresh brioche bun, perfectly dipped and seasoned, crispy coating on the outside and the chicken breast was tender and juicy. Topped with crispy lettuce, sweet spicy pickles and a delicious remoulade sauce. I selected the mushroom and swiss smash burger. Here's where they lost a point for me. I ordered grilled onion and received raw, which was fine, I like both but they were just off on order accuracy. Same delicious bun, plenty of mushrooms and I asked for jalapeno and there was plenty
