Fiesta Inn Mexicali

This hotel was really good. My family of 3 and I got a Jr suite it was perfect for us a king size bed and a pull out couch for the little one. The bed was nice and firm, but the pillows were too soft, other than that, it was perfect for the one night we were in Mexicali.

The worse stat ever. I’ve been here twice and this was a disaster! Cold water to shower with. I left it in 39 minutes and at its best was cool.

On August 31, 2025, we stayed at the Fiesta Inn in Mexicali. This was not our first time staying at the hotel. Whenever we visit Mexicali, we must spend the night at Fiesta Inn. Unfortunately, this time, our stay was not pleasant. My wife noticed that the pillows were made of feathers, which is something my wife is allergic to. We immediately called the front desk at approximately 9:20 pm. By 10 pm, I had called again, and they informed me that the person with the pillows was on their way. Around 11 pm, I called again, and they told me that the person was on their way again. The person with the pillows did not arrive until 11:13 pm. When we noticed that it was another pillow with feathers, we had to use towels as pillows. The service was not satisfactory.

We stayed here because it was close to funeral and we saw 4.5 out 5 on reviews with a very nice price. The staff is great..but But you get what you pay for. It’s an old run down hotel. It needs a serious update. There’s no USB’s anywhere, The carpet looks cheap n old. The furniture is old, worn n chipped. The sofa bed in our room was disgusting. ( see photo). There was no mattress inside just a worn dirty plastic with strings tied to it. The area around the hotel was surrounded by junk or dumps everywhere. This is the capital of Baja n there’s plenty of hotels around n glad to see construction of new ones. Because they need it. I believe this one was nice in the past but I don’t believe the recent reviews anymore after this.
