Fiddlestix Village

Enjoyed our weekend we stayed in the caboose which was very nice they supply you with most everything you need hot shower, refrigerator, comfy bed and the hottub was great after a day of hiking. It was peaceful and quiet and very secluded. Perfect place for romantic getaway

We booked the Martins General store last minute over a 4th July weekend for 4 nights. We were struggling to find anywhere available in Hocking Hills area. Wow, what a really cool place to stay. The photos do not do it justice, it has to be the most unique place I've ever stayed. Really well restored and felt like walking back in time. We didn't switch TV on and Internet was a bit sketchy but that is not why we visited this area. Great location with easy access to all the delights of Hocking Hills area. A/c was great too... And we needed it. Bed real comfy. Communal fire pit. Great display from lightening bugs every night (free of charge lol) No cooker but has a microwave and there are several dining options scattered through the hills. Very quiet, quaint, and the perfect getaway from the every day hustle and bustle. Don’t think that you’re about to be to attached to your phone all weekend because the Wi-Fi is intermittent at best, go to the caboose for better signal. Very centrally located for ash cave, Hocking Hills scenic areas, an old man’s cave. Would highly recommend the ultimate zip line tour as well. I stayed in the cookie cottage. Cookie jars all around! Feels like grandmas house!!

This place should not be rented in the winter. The water lines froze on us and we could not reach anyone on the emergency number provided. It was a nicely decorated place but is right next to the roadway which can be heard from the bedroom pretty well - thank goodness this is least-populated place in Ohio. Reasonably priced but I give the management a C at best on their responsiveness and courtesy.

Cute place just like it is in photos. The only complaint I have is not enough wash cloths or towels. I stayed for 4 nights & only had 2 of each. Also why pay for cleaning if I had to rid of my own trash, strip the bed & collect towels . Then I had to laugh because there is an envelope for tips!! Really!!
