My favorite place to camp and ride waterloos trails from.
We stayed here for 2 weeks. The owner and his family were so friendly. It was so peaceful and so enjoyable. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend camping here. There was only water on our site but they do have other sites available.
Electric for campers, potable and nonpotable water, water hookups to water or quickly wash horses next to individual metal gate pens instead of tie-outs ;-), manure area and wheelbarrow, public restrooms, picnic tables, campfire sites, outdoor arena, immediate access to horse trails. Maple trees throughout site, 10 years old, great shade. Very private and secluded, quite impressive. Owner friendly and reasonable, taking serious reservations.
Donny, nice place. I camped out in 2014. Had a nice time at this campground. It is very clean. Enjoyed the full amenities. And can't go wrong being right off the Waterloo state park trails.
Super laid back. Easy access to the trails. Will definitely go back.
