Faraway Camp

Nature & Comfort Combined - Loved the Geodome!My daughter and I had a fantastic time at Faraway Camp in Luray. The geodome was unique and had all the comforts of home, including a great shower and kitchenette. We spent our days hiking in Shenandoah National Park and our evenings enjoying the serene views from our deck in front of the fire pit and stargazing late into the night. It was wonderful to be immediately immersed in nature without having to even step outside. It's truly a great place to unwind and unplug. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience!! Fully stocked with all supplies needed. It was cold and snowing and we were still able to enjoy a wonderful evening. Had card games that we enjoyed too! The hot plate for cooking was amazing!!! Such a cool place we will be back again!!

An experience worth every penny spent. It is beautiful and romantic. The hosts are friendly and very committed to ensuring you have an amazing stay. The dome was clean warm and supringly spacious.

Enjoyed glamping at the geo dome! The location is beautiful and quiet. Close to Main Street in Luray and many adventures. Great for star gazing. Faraway offers many amenities that make you feel at home. Very clean. Say hi to the cows while you’re there :)

Stayed here for our 5th anniversary. Our night was nothing short of amazing. We lucked out with a beautiful sunset. The view mixed with the fire pit was perfection. And the random rooster crow and cow moos added to the joy. We will be back!
