Family Campground

Stayed in back-in water and electric spot 29. Gorgeous. Huge spot. Nice cement picnic table. Can't beat the view. No one on the one side of you and the other is quite far away. No wi-fi but got cell service so that was good and had many over the air TV channels to choose from. Would definitely stay here again. This is a County Park. I called ahead and made a quick reservation over the phone. Check in was easy right at the gate of the White Tank Park. I arrived about 4:30pm. Beautiful drive throughout the park as the sunset finally getting to the Family Campground. Camp hosts onsite if you need assistance. Dump Station at the exit. Definitely recommend.

Very nice campground and park! Hiking is great! Sites are spacious, some are not too close to others. The military planes over head during the week are loud and it gets old but the park has no control over that. Quiet at night and on the weekends! Lots of coyotes that howl off and on, and birds, which I love. We plan on returning.

The campsites are very clean. There are plenty of trails for hiking. The restrooms and shower facilities are well maintained and clean. It's fun to watch the fighter jets from Luke airforce base.

Wow! what can I say about this site. I'll start by saying the campground itself is very clean and well kept. The restroom shower areas were neat and well stocked. And the scenery...... The incredible views from every direction were awesome. It was very quiet and peaceful. ***A WORD OF CAUTION*** stay the paths! The area is covered with cholla cactus. The ground is littered with their needles and they are hard to see. Your pets will collect them in their feet and you will collect them in your shoes. They are hard to remove and painful.

Great place to camp. Beautiful scenery. Always enjoyed coming here. The grounds are always clean and also the restroom area.
