Falls of Rough Resort

I booked and paid for a cabin at this resort over two months prior to the date. It was confirmed but two weeks before the stay they called and cancelled me. They said "something came up" and offered no alternative lodging or other compensation. I can't say how good or bad the place was because I never got to stay there, nor will I ever.

Great Stay ! Wonderful Staff ! Did not get to Fish this Time, this place is on The River. Lovely Cottage, looking Forward to coming again. This little Town is Delightful ! I didn't mention the Golf Course. What a Great Area!!!

Our group of 22 stayed here for Labor Day weekend and we can’t say enough good things about this property. From my initial call, Dirk was so helpful and accommodating. We rented two duplexes plus an additional cabin and it was more than enough space for our crew. The rooms were clean and well appointed with full kitchens. We wanted to avoid cooking and when I expressed this to Dirk, he offered to have a buffet dinner set up each night in the clubhouse when we got off the lake. The food was absolutely delicious and not having to worry about cooking and cleanup made our trip that much better. The entire staff went above and beyond by helping with golf carts, ice for coolers, boat dock info, and anything else we could possibly need.

Just got home from a Great time trying out the stay an play package they offer. stayed in the cabins with 3 other friends and got in 27 holes with cart what a deal. Staff make you feel at home with the service and hospitality they give you. Great Food Fresh and Delicious the 2 ladies cooking go out of their way to make sure you don't leave hungry it was so good and they are Awesome. Course is coming back to what it use to be will definitely be back in the future. Keep up the good work and we'll see ya in the spring.
