Falling Waters Campground home of Buttermilk Falls

We booked a cabin for a winter holiday to celebrate our third anniversary together and absolutely couldn't have picked a better place. We're already planning on going back in summer and most likely again next year. The sky was beautiful, Dave was friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was incredible.

Owner Dave was extremely friendly, and willing to serve. They have very clean bathrooms and showers. Dirt roads were perfect for our kids (10 and 11) to ride their bikes around. They loved it! The waterfall and stream are gorgeous albeit difficult to get to but easier to admire. Excellent prices on beer and amenities. World's End campsites can be crowded and too close to the road. Falling Waters is more private and very close to the park. Beautiful country.

Have a camper there for the last two years and have enjoyed it very much. The staff there are very pleasant and very helpful if I need assistance with things I need accomplished there. My brother and his best friend have campers there also. Would recommend anyone to come and stay there at one of his cabins or bring your camper there and stay for as long as you can.

Lovely campground. There's a beautiful water fall, just a short (semi steep) hike to the top of the falls, takes about 30 minutes from the camp sites. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Small store with odds and ends you may need. They also have a beer distributor and an adult slushy machine. Perfect if you like to enjoy nature and the mountains.
