Fairgrounds Inn

Family came up for a funeral and it was very close and a convenient location. They all had issues with rooms. Cleanliness and water pressure. My sister was in line as a customer to check in and the front desk person thought that operation of the bar held more value and made her wait. I didn't give 1 star because I wasn't there personally but when I have 4 other family members that have had a bad experience then I feel this review is warranted. Location is great but other that's the only 5 star.

Staff was very helpful. Room was good. Pool looked clean. Not much for breakfast, same food both mornings. Biscuits and gravy.

The only two good things about this hotel was it was clean & the front desk people were nice. I did not like that they had hard floors instead of carpet. It was cold & slippery. The air conditioner did not work well & was waaaaay too loud. Very thin walls, I could hear everything. The tub was too high, I tripped over the side of it &almost fell cuz there was no mat. I had no clock, no refrigerator. And my bed was turned sideways so my feet were hanging off & I'm short.

Best time ever. everybody was nice. The rooms are super clean and the service is super nice like everybody is super nice here in the 6 Hour Dr. my family don’t even care about the 6 Hour Dr. and just got breakfast. The pool is super clean and a location is super beautiful.

This hotel was not the best. Our hotel room door wouldn't latch all the way, one of the locks were broken on the door, the light was burnt out in the bathroom, the smoke alarm was hanging by a wire from the ceiling, the walls and headboards were sticky and the blinds were broken. The elevator was also out of services and there is no ice or vending on the 2nd floor.
