Fairfield Inn Issaquah

The Wi-Fi was fast and the connection stayed overnight. My room was nicely done, with power outlets at the desk and the nightstand. The bed was comfortable and quiet. Amazingly, the HVAC controller was easy to use. Breakfast was fine as usual. The shower handle placement pretty much guarantees you'll be sprayed with cold water. I found two ants crawling around the shower in my bathroom. I sent the front desk a message through the app and didn't hear back for two hours. It's interesting that you can check in, and get a digital key, and unlock your door, all with the app, but you can't check out with it. The hot water dispenser at the coffee station was empty. There are 12 level two electric vehicle chargers near the front entrance. There's a Bible and a book of Mormon to indoctrinate gullib

I enjoyed my stay and will likely use them again. Compared to a local competitor I have stayed at before and comparably priced, I would say Fairfield isn't QUITE as nice/fancy- but it's infinitely more convenient. I'm sick of taking elevators up five flights and winding through mazes to find my room. But Fairfield has a nice basic/traditional design where you can get stuff from your car and be back in your room in a minute. The room was fairly nice and modernized, the bed and linens I thought were fantastic, very plush and comfortable. I had a little trouble getting the AC lower but I must have found the right button because it finally did and kept cool. I booked this hotel based on the location and price and then saw the not so great reviews and was worried. I’m not sure what other reviewers expected but this was a good hotel. The room was nice, very clean, and remodeled. The bed was a little hard, but I think that about almost every hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The lobby was updated and clean. The free breakfast was pretty good. I would’ve liked to see more pastry options, but they don’t lose any stars for that. The only staff I interacted with was the woman at the front desk and she was friendly. Parking was plentiful and the location was easy to get in and out of. I will be staying here again when I’m back in Issaquah.

Positive: I like the accessibility to the freeway, the ease of free parking and the free breakfast. I especially like that they had milk to drink. I also enjoyed ample electrical outlets in the room. The pillows were great. Yay frig and microwave. Negative: There was no clock in our room. Usually there is at least one time piece, usually in conjunction with an alarm. There was nothing at all.

I liked everything about this place. Location was tucked away in a relatively nice place. It just felt peaceful for me . Breakfast buffet was good. I liked the decor of the room, it was simple but elegant and functional. The room decor felt a bit like Scandinavian simplicity, which I like. Would definitely stay here next time. Also liked the fact that they had 2 bibles in the room, like in the old forgotten era, where hotel rooms used to have it. Although I am not a Christian, I still liked seeing a bible, it helps us stay grounded, and keep our faith in God. Felt nostalgic. God bless the management of this hotel. Hope they can maintain the simplicity and classic elegance for some time.
