Fairfield Inn Boston Sudbury

This used to be a favorite hotel of mine when traveling in the area for work (have stayed here dozens of times). Unfortunately I have had major issues with the last couple of stays. Several times I have had what appeared to be blood stains on the mattress protector (could be easily seen through the bed sheets). One time it was a visible piss stain...likely from a pet, which they allow here. Obviously this is disgusting and unacceptable. I requested to be moved to a new room each time which I appreciated them accommodating. However, it was still a hassle and I found myself starting to wonder what the room would look like when I arrived each visit. We stayed here 3nights while visiting family in the area and should have left after the first one. The fire alarm went off at 1:30 am so everyone in the building had to evacuate into the cold Oct night. We were outside for an hour and in the lobby for another 30 mins before the fire department let us return to our rooms. No one from the hotel told us what was going on, checked to see that we were all out, or explained/apologized the next day. We were shocked to see that on subsequent days the fire doors in the stairwell were propped open with a door stop ( even though this is a serious fire violation, which the sign next to the door clearly stated)||Breakfast was simply dreadful. We’re very satisfied with the bed, which is very comfy and clean and makes us have a good sleep!

Excellent accomodations and a wonderful staff too. Everyone has been kind and flexible. Breakfast is delicious and hot with good variety. Coffee is perfect too! Highly recommend!

Hallway smelled really bad like an old cat and or wet animal . There was a dog barking in a room near me . Loud, from a large dog. Not consistent . But came at all points thru the day and night . Admittedly, I never told management about either problem . They did let me have an hour late check out and very early check in though .
