Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Slippery Rock

My family had a great experience here. We stayed 3 nights for my husband’s graduation. All the staff we ran into were so friendly! The pool area is very nice. The water in the pool isn’t too cold and there is a hot tub as well, which was a nice surprise! My kids enjoyed the breakfast every morning. They also enjoy a hot chocolate bar. I want to shoutout the awesome housekeeper (I’m sorry I don’t know your name!). I told her my son had developed a fever so I would just hand her everything so she didn’t have to come into the room and she stocked us up with everything we needed. She even offered to go get crayons to keep my kids busy. She also asked how he was feeling when we checked out today, which I really appreciated. Wonderful staff, who was very attentive, great amenities including the indoor hot tub and heated pool. And we loved the coffee and separate Hot Chocolate—you heard that right, with sprinkles and mini-marshmallows and all!!! Breakfast was well appointed and clean, tasty simple eats. Great location for Slippery Rock!!

Staffs are friendly. Room is clean. Breakfast is abundant.

I had stayed at this hotel every couple of months since June 2025, after my kiddo moved to Slippery Rock. The first couple of times, everything was perfect. I loved the staff, the grounds and the room. In October after leaving, I was charged $20 for a dirty towel. It was a bogus charge, because my daughter and I don't wear makeup and we don't have colored hair or anything, but they sent a picture of a towel that was red. I am reading this seems to be a new issue at this hotel as of late. I chose to book the room again December 26-28, first issue is that there would be no breakfast in the morning. We had a long day on the road and stayed one night at this location even though it was well off the beaten path. The staff was super friendly and the place was all decked out for the Holidays. It was beautiful. In the morning the breakfast buffet was immaculately clean…even the waffle maker. Would definitely stay again.
