Unfortunately we had to change our plans last minute because of the major snowstorm that week (January 29-31). Instead of stopping in Kentucky and risking the storm, we drove from Asheville to home in one day. Not fun but seemed a safer alternative. Because we had to cancel in less than 24 hours, we were charged for the room. When we were returned home, we requested a refund due to the circumstances. Bonvoy referred the decision to the hotel (not corporate). We never got a response until we made a second contact with Bonvoy Customer Service. Second time staying at this Fairfield inn while in Frankfort doing the bourbon things 😊 will say this is an excellent location to all the distilleries in the area, very friendly staff, great hospitality! The rooms are clean, comfortable and quite. Will be our stay every time we come down here

I’m a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member and stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites Shelbyville for 5 nights beginning October 19, 2025. This was by far the worst service I’ve ever received at any Marriott property. Our room was never cleaned once during the entire stay, despite multiple calls to the front desk asking for basic cleaning for health and hygiene — just vacuuming, trash removal, and fresh linens. We even offered to vacuum the room ourselves, but no one with access could be found. Eventually, we were handed clean linens to change our own bed — completely unacceptable for a Marriott. This experience showed a total disregard for cleanliness, guest comfort, and Marriott’s usual standards. I regretted not driving an extra 20 minutes and getting a hotel in Louisville

Outstanding hotel. Only a little over a year old. Friendly people. Clean rooms with good bedding and pillows. Quiet. Breakfast was great. Lots of choices: waffles, eggs, toast, cereal, fruit, great coffee too! Close to 64 HWY at exit 32. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

A great big box hotel stay. Clean large comfortable room and mattresses, Plenty of ability to charge . great bathtub and shower Refrigerator and microwave. Location a little odd looks like a brand new hotel in the developing area. Good local food options. Standard included breakfast in the morning. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
