Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Sacramento Folsom

Be careful and look at your charges. Called to make a reservation and was given a price for both nights with taxes and fees included. After booking with them, I received my receipt through email and saw that they charged me $100 more than what was stated. When I called again the rep Vince said there’s nothing they can do about it. He was extremely unprofessional and rude. Never again will I book with Marriott. IHG hotels have better service than this terrible overpriced hotel.

Positive: Room was clean, staff was very helpful. Nice to have inexpensive laundry available. Negative: Pool didn't seem heated and would have been nice to have a hot tub/spa.

Our second stay at this property while on route to Tahoe with a stop to do wine pick up in the Amador area. Really clean, nice layout, beds comfortable, gym is good size (small, but sized perfectly for the number of rooms), breakfast and coffee fresh and plentiful. The rooms are quiet, air conditioning worked amazing against the 100+ temps outside, and it’s close to many great restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend for a convenient location to stay for a night or two. Parking is free (unlike the courtyard across the street) and staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Fairfield by Mariott Inn is a great bargain for your buck in terms of location to great cuisine, access to karaoke 200 ft. away and centrally located in Folsom in terms of needs for a long term stay. The cucumber and lemon water was delightful and always available as an amenity to to feel refreshed from the California sun. The hot tub was never too busy and great for muscle therapy. The only caveat I have was that the breakfast available for purchase was sub par at best and pales in comparison to a normal continental breakfast when it comes to quality and choices.

I stayed here over the course of several days. All the staff were amazing, kind, and courteous. Yen at the front desk was especially great, always going above and beyond to make me feel welcome and taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing a safe spot for business, or if you are traveling through Folsom to get to Tahoe. 🙌 The breakfasts were always prepared well, healthy options were presented and the kitchen/catering staff super nice. This hotel even welcomes dogs AND has a great field of grass behind it for your pets to play in... or even kids to play soccer! Which I saw one day and made me smile. I actually left a giant plastic jar (from protein powder) out back filled with poop bags for all the dog owners, just in case. Wouldn't want the kids stepping onto a "s
