Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Philadelphia Broomall/Newtown Square

My family and I recently stayed here for one night and had a fantastic experience. The staff member who checked us in was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the process quick and pleasant. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast offered was great. We did notice that the pool area and the pool water were quite cold. It would be nice if the heating could be adjusted slightly to make the pool more enjoyable, especially during the colder months. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

We recently completed three nights at the hotel, and we could not have been more pleased! We used all amenities (pool, gym, breakfast, laundry) and they were all clean, functional, well kept and high quality. The front desk staff - all of them (do not need to name specifically as each one was top notch) - went above and beyond, from ensuring a smooth check in, explaining the amenities, providing additional towels upon request, and serving with a smile. These may sound like the “little things” that all hotels should be doing, but all too often they are missed. A strong first impression went a long way to a positive and easy stay. Keep up the great work.

Positive: It's located in the heart of suburban Philly, which means you have access to the sprawl of the city without having to navigate the city itself. Negative: There was a suspicious brown substance on the shower curtain in my room. I asked for it to be replaced when I left for the day; when I returned, there was a new shower curtain simply sitting on the sink counter with the old one still hanging there.

Great hotel and great staff. We stayed one night, no complaints. My wife and oldest son checked out the complimentary breakfast, which seemed nice; good waffles and decent coffee. While it was a convenient location for us since my parents live in Haverford, I can't really speak to convenience in general. It did appear short in parking, though, but we had no issues.

Great location. Room were avg for Marriott and breakfast buffet had good options. Wish they had more food options in the evenings. They do have a bar but only serves a few small bite options.
