FairBridge Inn & Suites at West Point

I was placed here by dss for 7 days. the main guy in the front "acted" pleasant and nice. then gave me a lecture how if there are any problems they will just throw you out. In the main lobby they have coffee cup displayed but its only for the boss. the little coffee maker in the room was spitting out what look like mold into my last bit of fresh water. I noticed the mini fride was completely broken and smelled bad. they replaced it the next day so I was thankfull. In the room I was placed the wifi barely reach 1 bar and disconnects constantly and my cell service was also really bad. I asked very politely multiple times to be moved to a room closer to the wifi. Though outside looked run down, room was clean, beds comfortable.  Service was good, staff friendly… keys and hairdryer that didn’t work were immediately replaced with working keys and new hairdryer.  Microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker were provided also.  Location was close to West Point which is what we needed….. but I wouldn’t want to be alone in parking lot after dark!

Positive: Leaving. Was dirty had dead bugs and dust webs around the beds and mold and hair in the bathroom. They are refusing a refund when I did not even stay because of the dirty conditions. Negative: Everything. Was dirty and had paint chipping from ceiling above the bed the door was warped and wouldn't shut right . Nasty hair in the bathroom alone with moldy spots near the tub. Was there maybe 15 minute just to find a new hotel and walked out.

Not bad for the price but please secure the carpet screws. I cut my foot. Most screws are coming off. The coffee machine was dirty. But everything else is decent.

Do NOT stay here. I realize after reading other one-star reviews on this site that my experience was typical. I will assume the positive reviews here were planted by someone to dilute how bad this place is. We arrived late, so I had no choice but to stay. Had we arrived earlier, I would have left. We were given a room that had bugs in the sheets, bugs on the floor, incredibly outdated, dirty and torn curtains, shoddy walls, light fixtures, etc. I asked for another room and the property manager did not look surprised. He showed me an alternate, which we took. We hardly slept (bed was terrible, refrigerator was obnoxiously loud); we didn’t want to touch anything. The rooms and office smelled like smoke, the parking lot was part paved, part rubble, part pot holes. We were there to see our cad
